JOSASS A Journal of Arts and Social Sciences, College of Education, Katsina-Ala that publishes well-researched articles, book reviews, review articles and scholarly opinions from the academia, policy makers and opinion moulders among others. The journal is open to well researched articles from the Arts, Social Sciences, Education, Sciences, Vocation and Technical Education, the ICT World, Languages and Culture, as well as Contemporary National, Regional and Global Issues. We are particularly interested in articles that interrogates issues that augments knowledge and ideas, whose lessons would provide the path towards scholarship development, peace, harmony, and security in Nigeria, Africa and the world.

JOSASS, which is peer-reviewed, seeks to promote a deeper understanding of issues in Nigeria, Africa and the world through scholarly researches and exchange of knowledge useful to students, researchers, academics, policy makers and opinion moulders as well as enriching the general readers. JOSASS editorial policy is committed to any neither constricted ideological prism, nor political viewpoint instead; it recognizes that multidisciplinary approaches are fundamental in understanding issues particularly in the arts, social science disciplines and humanities generally.

It equally appreciates that opposing viewpoints and ideologies, which have shaped and are still shaping the understanding/misunderstanding of issues that are legitimate in academic discourse. This is one of our responsibilities in the tertiary institutions and as scholars; our aim is the universalization of knowledge and cross-pollinating of ideas for development and human progress.
